This journey started when a ball was first put into my crib, and continues today. I am fortunate to start my career in Japan with the Tokyo Apache of the Basketball Japan League for the 2008-2009, and this blog will follow my basketball journey; so, come along for the ride.”
UPDATE: 5-27-2008
I was drafted as the 8th overall pick and the first pick of the Tokyo Apache in the 2008 Draft. Thanks for everyone’s support, I truly appreciate it. Let’s see how far we can go from here.

Hey Ko,
SO cool that you’re playing in Japan! I played in Belgium this past year (where my mum’s family is from) and it was an awesome experience.
Enjoy your time over there! I’m jealous …I took a Japanese architecture class my senior spring and fell in love
Maybe there are women’s leagues in Japan? hehe

What an accomplishment! I’m speechless for how to congratulate you. A jog through the Rose City doesn’t much compare to playing a game on a Tokyo professional basketball team. Best of luck this off season.
